Many of us have understood for some time now that the administraion of these "united" states is delusional. They seem happy to continue to affirm this understanding.
One recent instance is by our Dick as reported in an article by MSNBC. Let's pick some of that apart.
“He’s the guy who’s got to decide how to use the force and where to deploy the force,” Cheney said. “And Congress obviously has to support the effort through the power of the purse. So they’ve got a role to play, and we certainly recognize that. But you also cannot run a war by committee.”
committee: a person or group of persons elected or appointed to perform some service or function, as to investigate, report on, or act upon a particular matter.
By definition, then, the administration and the commander in chief are committees. Thank you, Mr. Cheney, for helping us understand that we "cannot run a war by" the administration. Obviously.
Cheney condemns Democrats
Any attempts to block Bush’s efforts would undermine the troops, Cheney said.
You've just accused the ellected officials of attacking our troops. You, who managed to shoot your own friend in the face, should have something more than rhetoric to back up your claims. How about supplying our existing troops with more armor instead of simply supplying more troops for fodder?
He took particular aim at Democratic lawmakers who have blasted the president for increasing troops despite opposition from Congress, military advisers and a disgruntled electorate that in November ousted the GOP as the majority party on Capitol Hill.
“They have absolutely nothing to offer in its place,” Cheney said of Democratic leaders. “I have yet to hear a coherent policy from the Democratic side."
They do, and have continued to have something to offer in its place: redeployment and an exit from a failed attempt to take what is not ours to take. It's you and your little delusional group, sir, who have yet to listen.
Yet many Republican lawmakers, too, have begun to criticize Bush’s war management. Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel of Nebraska, for example, said last week he feared Bush’s plan would be the worst foreign policy blunder since the Vietnam War.
Responding to that, Cheney said the most dangerous blunder would be to give up on the global fight against terrorism because the United States has decided the war in Iraq is too difficult. That is just what America’s terrorist enemies are counting on, he said.
Again, Cheney is claiming to know the minds of the terrorists. Is Cheney actually one of the terrosit leaders? If you, Dick, are so aware of the terrorist mind and the how's and why's of terrorist activity, why have we not "won" yet? If you don't know, please kindly shut your pie hole and let the adults make the decsions.
“They’re convinced that the United States will pack it in and go home if they just kill enough of us,” Cheney said. “They can’t beat us in a standup fight, but they think they can break our will.”Well, this certainly explains a lot. A man with no military background thinks that wars are still fought and won by each side lining up and shooting at each other. And we think Bush is any better at making decisions like this? So we expect a people that don't want us in their soverein country who are less equipped than us to "fight fair"? Maybe they should start waterboarding our troops. Is that the sort of "standup fight" you're looking for?
Expatriation of the Administration Now!
But, I'm willing to turn the other cheek under certain conditions. Primarily, that the Administration come with hat in hand and:
1. Appologize and actually act upon the will of the people rather than contrary to it
2. Resign their positions, give away all of their money and take minimum wage jobs.
3. Visit every family that lost someone in this attrocity.
4. Never work in politics again.

I seriously doubt this administration will ever give a shit about the will of the people. Their heads are so far up their backsides, they've totally forgotten what logic is, what "supporting the troops" really means (hint: it's not pasting fake yellow ribbons on car bumpers...as I see it, the administration doesn't care about the troops, either), what "victory" really looks like (hint: it's not continuing to occupy Iraq), or any of that. They're just a bunch of chicken little war mongerers who love to see fights happen but don't want to get their hands dirty.
