Not much to add here except that avoid the director's cut of this movie if at all possible. I bought it thinking "surely it can only make a good movie better". Alas.
Stick with the theatrical version on this one.
To quote Rainer Wolfcastle "Ach, mein eyes!" The director's cut is horrible

almost embarassingly so. (not the "wet myself" sort of suprised . . . more of the "beat the hell out of someone" suprised)
